We are absolutely stoked to announce this years Pink Boots Brew for International Women's Day - North Shore Betty Sangria Sour! Named after Betty Birrell, a kick-ass mountain biker who picked up the sport nearly 30 years ago and at the age of 73, still rides some serious trails on the North Shore. The party officially starts at 7 PM with a beer tasting, followed by a Fireside Chat with Betty Birrell, and live music by Michela Sheedy! Proceeds from every launch event ticket purchase and North Shore Betty 4 pack sold, will be donated into a Banded Peak x Shred Sisters bursary program. The program will allow women who don't have the means to attend on their own the opportunity to partake and learn about mountain biking.

About Betty Birrell

Betty picked up mountain biking nearly 30 years ago and at 73, she’s still riding serious trails on the North Shore.

Betty is joining us in person to chat about her trajectory as a mountain biker; motherhood; how the sport has (and hasn’t) changed; and some great insights on staying motivated and continuing to do the things we love in the outdoors long after a lot of folks have hung it up.

We will also be viewing her North Shore Betty documentary short that Patagonia released recently.
