$1 from every pint of Tallgrass Tango sold in the Banded Peak Taproom in the month of September will be donated to Friends of Fish Creek

About Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society:

The Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society works to conserve and restore Fish Creek Provincial Park. In 2025, they had support from nearly 300 amazing volunteers, contributing over 17,000 hours to their programs, from ecology to public events, education and outreach, and beyond! Here's what they do:

• Work to restore native grasslands in the park, which is made up of less than six percent native species
• Engage with and educate park users
• Manage beaver coexistence in the park
• Support people experiencing grief and loss through the Good Grief program
• Run the Grow with Us program to get native species seeds and plants into the hands of Calgarians as part of a circular seed economy
• Run an extensive volunteer program
• And so much more!

Right now Friends of Fish Creek are partnering with the City of Calgary on weekly native plant giveaways (made possible through their partnership with the Alberta Native Plant Rescue Foundation) and establishing a variety of native species in the Listen Garden at Bow Valley Ranch.
