Banded Peak June Community Pint: Approach and One Tree Planted

$1 from every pint of Approach sold in the Banded Peak Taproom in the month of April will be donated to One Tree Planted.

About One Tree Planted:

One Tree Planted is on a mission to foster a sustainable and resilient future through innovative nature-based solutions rooted in the science of trees. Their projects focus on restoring priority landscapes around the world — places where forests can make the biggest difference for nature and communities.

In Canada their focus is in the Pacific Northwest, one of North America’s most ecologically diverse and culturally rich forested landscapes. Prior to European settlement, old-growth forest covered two-thirds of the Pacific Northwest; by the early 2000s, approximately 72% of that had been lost.

These ecosystems support iconic wildlife such as Grizzly Bears, American Bald Eagles, and Grey Wolves. The region hosts world-renowned Chinook Salmon runs, which nurture the endangered Southern Resident Orca. In addition, Pacific forests store substantial amounts of carbon, helping to mitigate climate change.
